Bubbling Under albums are noted with "BU" albums not on AM at all (highest-ranked here: #296) are noted with "X" the three 2014 albums ( To Be Kind, Black Messiah, and Run the Jewels 2) and the two 2015 albums ( To Pimp a Butterfly and Carrie & Lowell) are noted as "TBD." I've added each album's Acclaimed Music rank for comparison's sake. Here are the top 1000 albums from a combination of RYM's and BEA's top 5000 lists, using a simple reverse-points system (e.g., if a Radiohead album were to be #1 on both lists or a Pink Floyd album were to be #2 on both lists, they would earn 50 points respectively from each, for a total of 10,000 and 9,998 points respectively, just to take two totally random examples). I don't know how interesting this is going to be for everyone else, but what the hell, I figured I'd post it here (I waited until the songs poll results were done). I realize that both sites update their lists on a more-or-less weekly basis, but it took quite a while to do this - there doesn't appear to be a way to download RYM's all-time lists to a spreadsheet, so I entered all the rankings by hand - and the lists likely don't change all that much over a two-plus month period. I compiled this list based on the top 5000 albums from each site (RYM's unfiltered list goes up that high) as of April 23, 2015. Recently, I decided to take the time to do something stats-related I've been wanting to do for a while, just as an exercise to tide myself over while waiting to hear about the next AM update: a "master list" combining the all-time top albums lists from Rate Your Music () and Best Ever Albums ().
